I am excited to share with you my journey as an educator and my deep-rooted connection with Montini, and my love of teaching all of my amazing students.
My educational journey began at Northern Illinois University, where I graduated with honors. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education with an endorsement in Language Arts and Social Science. I continued my studies at the University of St. Francis, obtaining my Learning Behavior Specialist 1 Certification.
Currently, I am entering my eighteenth year as an educator and I am pleased to say all of them have been at Montini. From the moment I came to teach at Montini I could tell that it was more than just a school, it was a family. It is a place of faith, inspiration, joy, love, and learning.
My current position at Montini involves teaching multiple subjects for 5th-grade and 4th-grade Science. I absolutely love creating a hands-on learning environment filled with excitement, laughter, playfulness, and knowledge. I have been known to do this through classroom transformations, escape rooms, and experiments!
Outside of my professional life, I am blessed to have a beautiful family. I am married and have two children. We love to camp, go on hikes with our dogs, and spend as much quality time together as we can. My family has been a constant source of love, laughter, support, and inspiration throughout my journey as an educator.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Montini family and to make a positive impact on the lives of my students. Together, we can create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, instilling in our students the skills they need to thrive academically, personally, and spiritually.
I look forward to continuing this incredible journey at Montini and inspiring the next generation of learners.
