My journey as an educator began with a passion for helping young learners grow academically, spiritually, and personally. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University and later pursued a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University to deepen my understanding of effective teaching strategies. For the past ten years, I have been fortunate to teach at Montini Catholic School, a place that holds a special place in my heart—not only as an educator but also as an alum. My connection to Montini runs deep, as both of my daughters, Danielle and Emma, attended Montini from preschool through eighth grade. In second grade, I have the joy of guiding students through an important year of faith and academic growth. They prepare for the sacraments of First Communion and Reconciliation while also developing independence as readers and writers. I encourage my students to be the best version of themselves by following Jesus and always striving to do their best. My goal is to create a classroom environment where students feel supported, inspired, and eager to learn each day. Being part of the Montini community is more than just a job—it’s a blessing. Watching my students grow in faith, confidence, and knowledge reminds me daily of the incredible impact of Catholic education.
