I am so excited to continue being part of the Montini family—it's truly an amazing community.
My husband, Dave, and I are raising our two children, John and Sophia, along with our sweet dog, Rosie. As a family, we love going on walks, visiting the library, and spending time with friends and loved ones. One of my favorite moments is when my children visit my classroom—they truly enjoy spending time with my students!
Working with children has always been a passion of mine. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I began my journey in college as a site director for a before and after school care program, where I learned so much about children’s needs and development. After graduating, I worked in the corporate world for a while, but quickly realized it wasn’t as fulfilling as working with children. I returned to the field as a child care supervisor at the Lake Zurich YMCA.
When COVID-19 hit, I had to take a step back. A few years later, I became a paraprofessional at my children’s school—an incredibly rewarding experience. I loved supporting my young learners with their daily tasks, and that joy gave me the courage to pursue my dream of becoming a certified elementary school teacher.
In 2024, I completed my Master’s degree, and I feel truly blessed that God led me to Montini Catholic School. I am proud to be a Mustang! Each day, I am grateful to walk into a place where I can live out my faith, support young minds, and work alongside a team of dedicated educators who care deeply for our students and for each other.
Let’s go, Mustangs!
